x-comeback-x
it's has been ages since last i open this blog, and during that times a lot of things happened in my life...and yesterday night before i went to sleep,am thinking to "reopen" my blog. 19th dec 09 is my last post in this blog,so it's already 1 year +...keeping my life busy with new routine, and have no time to even open this blog.
few major things that have changed my life
-i've resigned from starbucks (yeah...after 5 years!!! )
-work at hotel (already 1 year)
-changed my status (single to married)
-and recently i get a good news from wifey (am gonna get MINI ME... ^^)
i don't believe in such a short time all this things happened and yea am so happy

x-clone phone yet look like 100% geniune-x
After awhile didn't write anything,today am back with news about my coffee explorer test....after several time cancellation of the test i get to know that i will never get the black apron back even i do the test now as i already a "coffee master", so i think it's no point i do the test and i told my district manager to pull off my name from the list...am sad coz i cnt show off my black apron!!!
today is my bad bad day...i had been conned!!! i bought a clone phone!!! f**k!!!
it's nokia n95 and i pay rm250 for it...it look so real and i fall for it's beauty!!! my fault,i didn't check carefully.
so guys, be careful when u wanna buy phone..now got a lot of clone made in CHINA phones..they really good in this..don't believe when people wanna sell phone with cheap price.. x-dang-x

Once again...my coffee explorer test that i supposed take on Sunday had been postponed to this coming Friday due to reopening one of Starbucks store in my district, so my district manager are busy to look after the store and had no choice to reschedule my test.. however am glad that i've more time to read.

2012... what will really happen in this year? A lot of saying, thought, prediction, opinion that we heard or read about 2012 event...but what is the truth? No body knows...it's all depends on what we believe or what we want to believe. Prepare our self for whatever that coming, or ignore and go on with our regular happy daily live...it's up to us, our self really... as for me, I don’t really know what to believe and what am suppose to do…I don’t really think about this. One of my friend (Young) is scared, don’t know it’s for real or he just saying that he's scared, then he said “what to do? Got another 3 years, go get as many girls as you can” this is what most of the guys said when having a conversation about end of the world, in other words “go do what ever you want , things that you haven’t do, things that you feel like to do” it’s more like it. here’s some opinion that I read through internet.
It's a load of nonsense: In spite of what you may have heard, "nothing bad will happen to the Earth in 2012," says Jason Townsend at NASA's website. "Our planet has been getting along just fine for more than 4 billion years, and credible scientists worldwide know of no threat associated with 2012." The purveyors of doom have offered up many scary scenarios, but there is no scientific basis for any of them.

x-coffee explorer test-x
Yesterday am working closing shift and i supposed to take the coffee explorer test at 3pm...but because of raining started at 1.30pm and it just stop for awhile at 5pm, i unable to go early and i missed the test, so i have to wait the next session of the test on sunday,and it's not in my store,i have to travel all the way to Sunway medical center coz the next session is in there..
let me tell what coffee explorer test is...
Every partner (staff) that have been working within 6 month are qualified to take the coffee explorer test, but it's not a must..before taking the test every partners have to complete their coffee passport*(complete all the core beans and at least two or three limited time offering beans) and also they have to do the 4 quick coffee tasting, where they need to choose and answer 4 out of 14 question.
*coffee passport is the book where partners have to fill in all about coffee that they try during coffee sampling session*

so after sitting this test and if the partner pass *mark for pass is 94* they will get "STORE COFFEE MASTER" tittle and they will get 1 black apron, 1 coffee master shirt and 1 coffee master pin *bronze color* (because store coffee master is the 3rd ranking in Starbucks, 2nd is district coffee master and the 1st is coffee ambassador)
Back to my story... actually am already a coffee master,coz i took this test 4 years back.Last time we can't wear the black apron while working they only allowed us to wear the black apron when there's special occasion like coffee seminar, so when the time i get the apron i just keep it and after shifted house i lost it. Now i have to re-take the test in order to get my black apron back..*now company allowed us to wear the black apron while working*

x-sick..suck-x
today am working morning, finished at 3pm but raining heavily, am waited till 4.30pm and rain still pouring down and doesn't looks it's gonna stop. bored with my working place plus feel uneasy just watching my other partner and store manager working i just leave my store and go to the other store where i always hangout.. reached here nothing else to do other than online and play games at facebook.. that what i always did when i online... :)
for the past few week, weather keep changing..hot,cold,raining,windy,cloudy, and because of that now am not feeling well, cough, sore throat, fever and flu and it feels suck!!! But all of that doesn't stop me from hangout till late at night..what a crazy and unhealthy life..
it's almost a month since shared planet promotion started and it will end soon.Then, the biggest, the longest, the most waited event/promo will come.. it's Christmas promo!!! yea, every year starbucks will start the promotion as early as they could.
i don't want talk about the promotion now i'll update next time when the promotion start. Beside all the new drink and stuff, starbucks will held a cheer party every year at selected starbucks stores, one store for every district..got 16 district all together, that's mean 16 stores will carry out the task to make the party succsess.
As usual my district manager asking all the stores that she taking care of, to provide one committee member and one holiday angel for the upcoming event... and i offered myself to become one of the committee member as i don't wanna miss the party for this year and i also can update more about the party for my blog.
This is the only information that i can provide for this time, but i will definitely provide more information regarding the promotion and the party as well as i will be the committee member for my district to make the party become more happening..hahaha...*hope so* and i'll post the pic as i will become one of the important person for the event... :) * happy*

x-raya mode.........off-x
Raya has come to an end, honestly say that this year is the most boring year..haha as i mumbling before in my entry.. however, i still manage to went to few open house during this raya, and one of it is in my girlfriend aunt place, mee udang, roti jala and nasi dagang is the main foods that had been served.. all is nice, i ate till my stomach full to the max.. and the best thing is, am workin' evening shift.. just imagine, stomach full and i have to work.. damn lazy.. but i still come to work like normal and yea am suffering for the whole 8 hours.... :p

x-bored raya-x
Raya has no fun for me anymore, it’s just like another usual day for me, the different is today got more foods, more people coming visiting wearing their baju melayu and songkok for guys and baju kurung or kebaya for girls. But as for me, I felt bored to the max that day, since am reached home from kl on the raya eve,nothing make me feel exciting, accept all of our family is here, I mean all my siblings, all 8 of us is home which is hard to gather us all. One things for sure, my mom and dad sure happy to see their boys and girls home. I reached home that night around 12.30am with my third brother who stayed with me back in kl, it was heavy rain that night, we both the last one reach kampung, other sibling arrive earlier.
It’s a tiring week for me, after 4-5 days without enough sleep am really exhausted, but because of raya I don’t really care, after sitting for awhile and waiting for the rain to stop me and my 3 other brothers went out to place so called town, I don’t know what seremban people call it but I looks like uptown in kl, about 20-30 km from my house.. selling stuff like shirt, jeans, cookies for raya and so on.. even am tired I just go when my brother ask me to go, it was drizzling still but we ignore it. I have no purpose to go there, have no intention to shopping more like window shopping while check on seremban chicks, but am not see one single chick that interest me.
When we reached to that place I saw a lot of people doing their last minute shopping, the road even jammed. That place quite pack, with slop everywhere plus muddy, lucky I wearing my short and flip flop, if not sure am cursing for the whole time am there. One thing I realize about seremban dude, can say all of them have a similar hair style. Spiky, blonde in color, some of them got stripe on one side of their head only, with dragon pendent necklace, I even saw one of this guy, his hair still on dye process, I mean his hair still wet with dye, but only his back hair where he kept long like a tail… he put tissue on his collar and wander around.. he looks hideous and hilarious…
We’ve spend one good hour at that place, without one of us buying anything, back and reach home about 3.30am and straight go to sleep. Woke up a bit early.. around 7.30am because I need go to mosque, after showered, I took my baju melayu and try on it, as I tell befor that am broke, so the baju melayu is my previous year one, the best part is, I never try before I bring it back, so, guess what!!!? I can’t fit the pant anymore.. am so sad how much have I change since last year… I think am so fat now… darn.. I have no choice, so I borrow my dad last year baju melayu..
For raya praying am going to my old kampung, the kampung where I school, and have friend. It’s about 15 km away from my current house. actually am not praying when go to the mosque, more like meeting friends.. but I don’t know why, my friend become lesser and lesser every year.. not less because they didn’t come back for raya but.. I don’t know.. this morning I meet few of my friend, friend that I can say quite close with me when schooling time… when meet him he just shake my hand smile then sit in another corner and I felt like we don’t really know each other.. two of them, that’s made me sad. After finished praying I just go back without say anything to my friends, and because of that I don’t feel like go visiting any of my friends.. and the only thing I did for raya, like usual...sleeping until evening.. so where’s the fun? It’s just like another ordinary day in my life. x-so bored-x

x-straw hat-x
Thank god, finally our summer promo officially ended. Actually it's ended last Monday, 14th september 09, however we still selling the promo drink which is "coffee jelly frapp", and "ice vanilla coffee jelly latte" so who ever think their a fan of starbucks jelly go get it now while we still have stock. When i said the promo has ended only one thing that made me happy... it mean no more, the super ugly straw hat, since the promo started in 16 june 09 we have no choice but to wear it everyday. we or rather i said "me" or who ever don't like the straw hat, had suffered for 3 month when we have to share the hat with other partners, that's the worst part out of others.. just imagine when we have to wear the same hat after someone use it, the hat will be wet, after that "someone" wear it for full 8 hours shift.. the smell only god know... ;p but proud of our self, we still standing after 3 month. when the promo start, we even get instruction how's the right way to wear the hat..
that's funny right? but for us it's all normal, we always get this kind of "AWESOME" things.. and the truth is even i like some of it..
For some people they will look nice when wearing the straw hat for example...
hahaha... sorry guys, nobody wanna be my model.. so i have no choice :p...
but for some people.. when they wearing this straw hat.. sorry to say, they just looks hideous..
looks like a criminal... lol
so this is why i said when the promo is ended it's a relieve for some people.. no more criminal face... for the last time am gonna say good bye to this straw hat.. hopefully for next year they will never come out with this kind of idea...

x-am broke-x
Raya is just around the corner, however i didn't feel the excitement.. even i get leave for raya and can go back hometown to celebrate with my family but i felt abit down as i'm broke this year.. not coz of too much shopping in fact i didn't even buy 1 shirt for my self... how sad.. talking about broke, it because i got summon from police.. it's happened on 31st july, that morning when am on my way to work, i using my brother bike and follow the usual route to work, half way to reach, somewhere in damansara a quiet place and not a main road, i never thought police will make a damn road block there. That time am going a bit fast and the moment i saw police standing in the middle of the road, it's all too late for me and i know that am fucked up. I wanted to stop and make a illegal U turn but my bike don't have brake, so no choice i have facing the "road carnivore". when i getting close to the police i got second thought to run but i just keep that in mind when i saw one of the police holding a rifle.. i don't wanna die yet.. when the police ask me to stop, the worst part just begin, my bike have no brake so, just how am i gonna stop where the police ask me to.. then all the police thought i wanna run and maybe they think am a criminal on the run..haha.. so one of the police jump in front of my bike and stop me using his hand, the one with rifle look at me with his serious face and the look.. like he ready to shot me if i run away.. the police who stop me start scold me..
police: oi nak langgar orang ke?
me: sorry bang brake tak makan..
police: banyak la kau,pegi parking motor dekat sana.. he ask me park my motor at the side of the road.
after park my bike am walking to the table where he waiting for me with his summon book.
police: bagi ic,lesen dengan road tax.
so i took my wallet, give him my ic and sat beside him.
police: lesen dengan road tax mane?
me: sorry bang saye tak ade lesen, road tax pun tak bawak (my brother's bike have no road tax)
police: kau ni,dah la takde lesen,road tax tak bawak,lepas tu nak langgar orang.. besar kes kau ni.
me: sorry bang, saya nak cepat pergi kerja,tak ada orang nak hantar, so saya pinjam motor kawan,lupa nak ambil road tax.
police: ni kena saman ni, lepas tu kena pergi mahkamah sebab tak ada lesen.
me: ala bang, tolong la bang, saya tak ada masa nak pergi mahkamah,lagipun saya selalu kerja, cari duit, kalau saya tak pergi kerja nanti kena buang, tolong la bang.
police: hmmm.. kau nak aku tolong macam mana?
actually that's the key word to save your ass from summon(duit kopi,bribe), but at that time i have no money.
me: ala bang saya nak bg, tapi saya tak ade banyak, ada rm10 je.. gaji belum masuk lagi bang.
at that time am cursing my self, why i didn't withdraw money last night.
police: hmmm.... tak boleh ni kene saman juga.
maybe he disappointed coz i don't have money.
me: ala bang, tolong la.
police: lebih baik aku saman daripada aku bawa motor kau pergi balai.. nanti kau pun tak boleh pergi kerja lepas tu kena buang kerja.

So up till now i kept the summon latter and waiting my friend to check for me how much i have to pay, coz they never state there how much exactly i have to pay. But at the letter they ask me to go to court coz i have no license, this 23rd september is the date i suppose to go to court. After my friend epi, check for me *he got police friend*, he said court is not necessary, i just can go to police station and pay for the summon. then i got other friend who work with me and his girlfriend working in bukit aman help me to pay it with her discount.. before discount i have to pay rm600 but she get it just rm300 after 50% discount *thanks to "CHOT" and his grilfriend "MY ETON"* for helping me.. so this is why i have no mood to celebrate raya coz am broke.. x-damn-x

x-the 3rd place-x
Monday 14 sept 09 now 9.57pm.. got nothing to do, chilling at starbucks, surfin while sleepin'. After finished my shift, i just came here the other starbucks at damansara uptown, breaking fast here with some friend and now sitting at the couch looking one of my friend nicely sleeping.. she just sleeping like she's at her home..make me laugh, when remember "starbucks is the 3rd place" she's really follow that.. workin here, chillin' here, and sleepin' here..*like i never did before.. that's what we call starbucks spirit, we all really love starbucks that much, we do.... even this store almost full with customers but nothing can stop her from taking a nap.. lucky she didn't snore, if not am sure run from this sit and pretend that i did not know her.. check out her pic!! x-lol-x

During this fasting month, Starbucks will be the safest place for malay customers to freely eat and drink, it’s doesn’t matter if they dine in or to take away. In my place for example, I got 1 of my regular customer, it’s a she, her name is alice or something, very modern name and yet she’s from Kelantan. Normally she will only take away one grande latte with 2 tube of brown sugar, but for this fasting month she always having the drink here and even buy sandwiches for breakfast. For the 1st week I thought maybe she got reason for not fast, u know, girl got their legal excuse for not puasa. Then when the 2nd week coming I start thinking “so long one”? but still I can’t say anything what, she’s a customer and I have to serve her some more she’s the kiasu kind and I dare not to talk much with her, but for me if we always focus on her when serve her she’s a nice person. Got one day she gave us the most funny excuse not to puasa, we never ask her at the 1st place but maybe coz she saw our face like wondering “is she puasa or not”? without asking she said “oh my office was blackout, that’s why am coming here, so sakit hati with the maintenance, I swore at them, puasa also batal. So we’re the barista who’s listen to her story just nod our head with the simple “ooooo”, smile and handover her order so she can enjoy her drink and try to cool down her anger. Other than her got another guy, never see him before, just recently when start puasa he become our regular morning customer. First day, he came with his “like nothing happen” face ordered one grande brew coffee. For the 1st impression we already know that he’s a malay, plus his name tag that hanging around his neck like he wanna show his name and yea I did see his name “nik” something..damn stupid right? I don’t know whether he got any legal excuse or not, but for a guy unless he got recommendation from doctor saying he shouldn’t puasa for health problem then he got no other excuse. The first day he bought drink from us I thought he buy for someone else maybe his boss or his colleague but after he’s paying and we handover his drink he straight away went to condiment bar and mixing his coffee and he even taste it.. at that time I’m just looking at my partner and ….. speechless… besides this two got few more customer come and act like non malay, speak like foreigner, with the accent.. so lame.. x-lol-x

x-boring time-x
It’s Friday.. another 2 days for this 3rd week end and that’s mean another 8 days to raya. Today I work evening shift, as usual at this time is very quiet, do some paper work while waiting for customer, now is 8.15pm just finished break fast, as usual I just eat a few of kuih that I ask my partner to buy and a glass of water. In this fasting month working closing is the bored shift ever if u are the kind of people who like to “eat”, because u have to work and don’t have much time to enjoy ur food, if in ur shift is all malay u have to take turn to eat and u maybe lucky if other partner and manager is non malay but the problem is u have no friend to eat with, so u’re miserably eating alone, but the best thing working in night shift is u got more time after work to hangout at mamak or go back and cook for supper. That what I normally did, after work I’ll go back watch dvd to kill some time and then I’ll cook for me and my brother. But if i working in the morning shift I have to change the whole activities. The best part when working morning is breaking fast time, I have friend to eat with, have time to go and buy food at bazaar Ramadan. The only thing that not nice about working morning is, I don’t have much time to hangout, have to go back early, sleep early and wake up early. If working in morning shift I hardly cook for supper, I’ll buy. So I guess during this fasting month majority people prefer to work morning and have time to spend with their love one. I’ll better stop now before I kill u guys with my boring time story. :)

Last Wednesday afternoon one of customer came and bring our “power lunch voucher" she wanted to redeem that voucher at my store, acctualy this customers had come before and bring the same voucher..what i tried to tell is she making a big fuss about the voucher..the first time she came i didn't bother her coz that time my boss is around and he taking care of her but the second time i have no luck..
the moment my partner see her, they calling me without try to assist her..coz they know how
she gonna screw their day.
the conversation is like this:
partner: wan hurry and take care of this customer.
that time i was in office doing some ordering and thinking why would my
partner call and ask me to taking care of customer.
me : ok am coming
the moment i enter the bar and see the customer face i stood still for awhile
sweet god!!! somebody gonna screw my day today.
me : talkin to the customer " yes mam can i help u"
customer : "ini" while showing me the voucher
me : take and read the voucher "mmm okay ma’am this voucher u have to buy the food
and get the free drink" acctualy i wrongly read the voucher,for the voucher she acctualy entitle
for free food (power lunch worth rm6.50) and tall size latte.
customer: "mana ada,itu semua free ma,sya selalu pergi makan guna ini ma"
me: read back the voucher.. "oh yea.. sorry, sorry, so what u want?
customer : bagi saya ini, pointing her finger at the our power lunch menu
she wanted the quiche and my problem just started
me : sorry ma’am but we don’t have this one now.
Customer : aiyo, macam mana boleh tak ada? Saya pergi lain store ada ma,macam mana u boleh tak ada?
My partner just standing at my back observing our conversation, they start to show their annoyed face with the customer fussiness
Me : sorry ma’am we didn’t order quiche anymore coz we cnt sell it.
Customer : start with annoying tones “macam mana sekarang? Apa u ada”?
At the time the only food left under power lunch promo is tuna cheddar melt sandwich which is cost rm9.50 and she doesn’t entitle for that but….
Me : “this is the only sandwich we got ma’am” have no choice coz she’ already show her pissed off face
Customer : apa itu?
Me : tuna sandwich
Customer: ada cheese ka?
Me: yea..
Customer: aiya saya mau itu ma..macam mana oh?
Me: sorry ma’am we don’t have that, but I can call the nearest store to ask them.
So I went inside and calling my neighbor store, unfortunately they also don’t have quiche.
So I go back to the customer and tell her got no choice to take the tuna sandwich which she’s not entitle for .
Customer: ok la ok la..kasi panas ha..sini makan.
Me: ok, and the latte u want hot or ice?
Customer: oh saya mau tea..bg saya green tea.
Me: sorry ma’am u can only take latte
Customer: mana ada..saya mau tea
Me: cannot ma’am while showing her the voucher.
Customer: with a high tone and almost shouting ”saya slalu buat ini macam ma..saya selalu pergi makan dekat hartamas,bangsar, semua pun boleh,kenapa sini tak boleh”?
Am telling my self I will not give her tea as I already gave her the sandwich that she’s not suppose to take.. one of the customer start looking at her. She continuously complaining and made me reach my limit..i can’t hold it anymore..
Me: “ma’am, orang sudah cakap tak boleh, tak boleh la, kenapa u susah nak faham? Satu kali cakap u tak faham, 2 kali cakap pun u tak faham susah la ini macam.. u pun tak mau dengar orang punya cakap.
Customer: aiya saya selalu dekat sana boleh ma”!!!
Me: kalau macam tu lain kali u tak payah datang sini la,u pergi sana boleh tukar punya..
Customer: lain kali u cakap u punya boss jangan bg ini voucher sama orang,
She tried put all the blame on us again..
Customer: bagi u punya office phone no.. she wanted to complaint bout me.
I went to office and call my boss and inform him about the incident, and he ask me just give whatever she want. So I took my outlet manager and my area manager phone no and wanted to give to her but at that time she already left.

x-Fu**ed up evening-x
Yesterday was my off day, like usual I’ll hangout at starbucks surf internet, update facebook, play games and see my friend. I going back at 6pm early than usual because I have plan with my girlfriend to berbuka puasa at singgahsana hotel with her friend. half way to reach home something happened that almost make me involve in accident. When I was steadily riding my bike suddenly out of nowhere from my back one “mat rempit “ try to over take me, at that time I going a bit fast around 100kmh so when he suddenly appeared very close at my right side I’m shocked and I accidently hit the side mirror one of the car at my left side with my motorbike handle and “crack” the side mirror broke and in no time without looking at the car I just ran, the guy who make me hit the car is gone but because of the road condition with a pretty bad jam he can’t go that far, so manage to keep up with that guy and when he see that I’m coming he thought I’m chasing him and he get scared, tried to run away and ride his bike like crazy, when I saw him tried to run I automatically chasing him even though I don’t have intention to do that. So, when I manage to over take him, I look at him and he smile with his fucking shit looking face and I shout at him “hoi u wanna die is it”? at that moment I’m thinking to kick him from his bike and lucky I didn’t do it, if not here sure die fall down from moving bike with a lot of car at the side and I’ll become a killer. After I shout at him one more time he run and this time he act like he challenge me to race with him, and yea of course I followed him but, because his bike slightly small than mine so he “win” and he wave at me to show that I loose.. so I wave back but I show my middle finger to him.. all the driver who stuck on jammed just looking at me.. after awhile I thinking about the car that I hit.. feel sorry for him.. but I have to run coz if I stop i don’t have money to give him to fix his car.. sorry dude I’ve fucked up your day…
