Three more days till the promo launch.. now we all at starbucks busy reading the promo material and sharpened our knowledge *yea rite*... during this promo a lot of thing will change, not just having the new drink but few thing will change during this period.

For this promo all the cups will be in christmas mode.. for ice cups got snow flake pic and for to go hot cup its totally change..red in color and have picture on it,our hot sleeve and pastry bag also different from the usual that we used. beside that we gonna change menu board to red color,and we have a lot of christmas deco material to put up.

today am working morning, finished at 3pm but raining heavily, am waited till 4.30pm and rain still pouring down and doesn't looks it's gonna stop. bored with my working place plus feel uneasy just watching my other partner and store manager working i just leave my store and go to the other store where i always hangout.. reached here nothing else to do other than online and play games at facebook.. that what i always did when i online... :)

for the past few week, weather keep changing..hot,cold,raining,windy,cloudy, and because of that now am not feeling well, cough, sore throat, fever and flu and it feels suck!!! But all of that doesn't stop me from hangout till late at night..what a crazy and unhealthy life..

it's almost a month since shared planet promotion started and it will end soon.Then, the biggest, the longest, the most waited event/promo will come.. it's Christmas promo!!! yea, every year starbucks will start the promotion as early as they could.

i don't want talk about the promotion now i'll update next time when the promotion start. Beside all the new drink and stuff, starbucks will held a cheer party every year at selected starbucks stores, one store for every district..got 16 district all together, that's mean 16 stores will carry out the task to make the party succsess.

As usual my district manager asking all the stores that she taking care of, to provide one committee member and one holiday angel for the upcoming event... and i offered myself to become one of the committee member as i don't wanna miss the party for this year and i also can update more about the party for my blog.

This is the only information that i can provide for this time, but i will definitely provide more information regarding the promotion and the party as well as i will be the committee member for my district to make the party become more happening..hahaha...*hope so* and i'll post the pic as i will become one of the important person for the event... :) * happy*

Raya has come to an end, honestly say that this year is the most boring year..haha as i mumbling before in my entry.. however, i still manage to went to few open house during this raya, and one of it is in my girlfriend aunt place, mee udang, roti jala and nasi dagang is the main foods that had been served.. all is nice, i ate till my stomach full to the max.. and the best thing is, am workin' evening shift.. just imagine, stomach full and i have to work.. damn lazy.. but i still come to work like normal and yea am suffering for the whole 8 hours.... :p

back to my normal life... work,work and work.. 8 hours a day,6 days a week.. for now am waiting good news that i've been waiting for past 2 years,the thing that made me moved from 1 place to another,the thing that once gave me hope,the thing that made friend become enemy,the thing that made me feel unappreciated by peoples,the thing that made me hates peoples.. just because of one thing thousand shits happened.. i tend to forget about that thing but lately it coming back giving me hope and for this time i really hope it's for real because i need it..i really do.. hehehehe..

x-CSR - Scrabble at Starbucks-x

Here’s to share with you the launch of World Scrabble Championship at Starbucks Tropicana Mall on 29 sept 09. It was attended by the media, celebrities and the World Scrabble Champion (who so happen to be a Malaysian). Scrabble also invited a group of less privileged children from Shambala Kids, a centre dedicated to improving their lives.

The event announced our collaboration with Scrabble to kick off a series of Bi-Weekly Challenges. These challenges will be held at selected Starbucks stores in the Klang Valley and are open to the public. Scrabble is a nice fit to our Third Place environment. The game doesn’t require a lot of space, suitable for all ages, educational and is excellent over a cup of great coffee!

x-CSR - Tennis Star Fernando Gonzales at Starbucks KLCC1-x

We had a fun day welcoming Fernando Gonzalez to Starbucks KLCC1!

Some customers came in as early as 3pm. Besides local tennis fans, we saw many tourists and expatriates who came prepared with the Chile flag, tennis balls and other personal items for him to sign on.



The Lucky Draw which gave out an autographed tennis racquet was won by a customer who spent close to RM200. There were also some who made multiple purchases to get more receipts for higher chances of getting picked. Fernando arrived on the dot at 6pm. As planned, the organiser whisked him into the store to meet with the Starbucks management first. So we took this opportunity to arrange for him to sign on a Starbucks apron and take a group photo together. check out the pic!!

A stranger is sat next to a little girl on a plane
The stranger turns to her and says, "let's talk. i've heard that flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation." The little girl, who had just opened her book, closes it slowly and replies, "what would u like to talk about?" "oh i don't know," smiles the stranger. "How about nuclear power?, "okay" she says, that could be interesting topic. But let me ask u a question first.

A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff - grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, and a horse produces clumps of dried grass. Why do u suppose that is?









The stranger, visibly surprised by the little girl intelligence, think about it and says, "hmmmmmmmm, i have no idea." To which the little girs replies, do you really feel qualified to discuss nuclear power when you don't know SHIT? x-lol-x

x-good coffee day-x

Every year Starbucks will held an event called good coffee day, for this year good coffee day will take place on 7th October 09….yea it’s this coming Wednesday.

Good Coffee Day is a one day event held at all Starbucks branch to create customer awareness of Starbucks Shared Planet and our commitment to 100% responsibly grown and ethically traded coffee. On this day, all Starbucks branch in Malaysia will giving away complimentary tall size brew of the day to customers, that’s what we called good coffee day, it’s more like good day for our regular customers to get the treat from us, However this event only for 2 hour, start from 10am until 12pm,

every year I never missed to work on this day, normally we start the preparation for this event a day before, like pack the coffee that we took from big bag, weight it and pack into small bag and grind at the night time, prepare the cups, lids, hot sleeve, and all the condiment stuff. By doing this, it’s make our work easier for the next day, because we just need to brew the coffee and wait for customers.

The best thing about this event is, when a lot..it’s like A LOOOOT of customers come to take the free coffee and we all the staff will be short handed to assist all the customers. Some stores, or rather I say some partners will never experience this situation, the busyness of customers flow, that’s what made I never missed to work for this event.

Plus now am working in store that surrounded by office and I already know how this event gonna be.. so much fun to think about it.
