x-term and condition apply-x

one thing I don’t understand bout customer is they never understand or they completely stupid to understand with “term and condition apply” phrase and they like to change it according to what they want and the best thing is we all in service line always know and understand with “customers always right” phrase.. so it’s mean “term and condition apply” should have change to “term and condition apply according to customers request” and it will make our work, who working in service line easier .. or to make it more easier just don’t put the term and condition, so customer will get anything they want and we happily will give to them. What the point u put the condition on something if finally u just give the completely different thing from what u offered to customer and the staff who try to follow the term that had been set by company finally get screwed by customers and the company it self because failed to give the best service to customers. In starbucks we have this motto “just say yes” to customers.. so it’s completely useless if we tried to argue with customer on this term and condition apply stuff. The best part is when we came out with new promotion the company will tell us the staff” what we can and what we can’t do” and we as a staff just follow what had been told and when some customers who not satisfied because they didn’t get what they want sent an email to complaint on us the company will never back us up. All the blame is on us, so basically in starbucks if the staff say no, it’s only last for 30 sec max and if customers still insist the” yes” will come out. So guys, what do u think? How important is the term and condition apply? x-Lol-x
